Nutritionally safe for young animals it will not harm the natural flora of the intestine. As an adsorbent, Attapulgite (aluminium magnesium silicate) is many times more effective than even large doses of Kaolin and can be relied on to easily absorb harmful toxins from the contents of the digestive tract. Pectin, a natural gelling agent helps manage the intestinal flow thus relieving the symptomatic cramping and distress often found in cases of diarrhoea related digestive disturbances.
