For use as a supplemental source of highly stabilised Vitamin E and Selenium together with the essential amino acid l-Lysine.
Vitamin E and Selenium perform a significant antioxidant function within the metabolism and muscle systems of the horse. Breeding, growth, training and racing increase the need for the protecting activity of antioxidants.
The essential amino acid I-Lysine is required for protein formation which is directly associated with muscle growth and development. Foals, yearlings and horses in hard training may require supplemental I-Lysine to meet increased demands on the muscular and lipid energy metabolisms.
Supplementation with I-Lysine can improve the protein quality of carbohydrate rich feeds such as
wheat-based varieties.
