Research suggests that an increased supply of the amino acid peptides is required during and after strenuous exercise for maximising performance of horses. Intensely worked horses given PRO-AM Racing are reported to work better and recover faster with less training interruptions because they are in overall better health. In field trials, selected trainers used PRO-AM Racing and they reported a marked improvement in their horses. They performed better than expected. The trainers also reported that the horses recovered well from their work, that they suffered no significant weight loss, despite the intensity of their training and racing schedules, that their coats looked remarkably well and that they maintained their appetites.

Additional Info

As PRO-AM Racing is taken up and distributed in the body very rapidly we suggest in connection with hard training, racing or competition it is best to give it within 1 to 2 hours of a start (where possible) and that more be given in the first feed afterwards. It only needs a small amount of feed to contain 100 to 150ml of PRO-AM Racing if not given directly via the mouth. For your convenience a pre-race/competition version is available as PRO-AM Boost.

One litre is sufficient for 10 days at 100ml per day. This would be a typical doseage for an adult horse in training for 5 days before competition or racing and for 5 days after. Horses in need of conditioner will benefit from 100 - 150ml twice daily for 10 days followed by 100ml maintenance.
Our Tip: stress is also a major contributor to protein breakdown within the body. This leads to an increased demand for amino acid peptides to support and maintain condition while they are in work.
