Ballindenisk in Co. Cork kindly acted as host to the final leg of the Forans Young Rider Eventing Series. Although the weather was a bit wet the course was super and wet weather is something that eventers in Ireland have just had to get used to over the last few years!

The Forans Young Rider Series was run over 5 events, covering all regions of Ireland. A total of 33 different combinations lined up to contest the series and it was a very hard fought competition, and a true testament to the strength of talent in the Young Rider ranks within Eventing Ireland.

James Dalrymple and Pageantry were the series leaders going into this final event and even with a win on the day Lesley-Anne Lyons and Rupert Bear were unable to catch him. Their win was enough, however, to allow them to take the runner up spot in the overall series. Both Lesley-Anne and James have won a training bursary which will help them to even greater success in the future, together with a selection of products from the Foran Equine range.
