It couldn’t be any tighter at the top of the brand new Forans Young Rider Series. With only five events scheduled for the year, and three already run Joanna Younghusband and James Dalrymple are fighting for poll position.

A total of seventeen horse/rider combinations have taken part in this series put together specifically to give Irish Young Riders an incentive to compete in their very own eventing league. With the overall prize winner receiving a training bursary of at least €750, with 2nd receiving at least €250, in addition to the prize fund for each event, it’s not surprising that this series has really taken off.
