Orla Cassidy, a keen and successful event rider, has recently joined Foran Equine Products as national sales executive. Orla has an in depth knowledge of the nutritional needs of horses having studied Agricultural Science where she specialised in Equine science and nutrition. Following her graduation from UCD in 2005 Orla spent a time working and gaining experience in the USA with Olympic event rider Darren Chiacchia. Upon her return to Ireland, Orla has been a solid campaigner on the Irish eventing circuit, teaching at the Ward Union Pony Club, hunting regularly with the Fingal Harriers and has successfully brought on many talented young horses, eventing them up to 2* level. With her new role in Forans taking up much of her time, eventing will become a hobby for Orla and she has a 5 year old that will be aimed at the CCI* at Tattersalls next June.
